Small circles from a wool blanket dissolves back into nature

Having a relaxed state of mind is when the best, most authentic work happens. This work came as a result of me bying a frame for an art exercise in oil wax. The frame was too big. I decided that instead of going back to the store and getting a new frame i would make the image fit the frame! I can’t have been too happy with the work as cutting it up did not seem like a mad thing to do. As I was already super charged with another project, elements form this seeped in, rock related, so i ended up cutting shapes like lines in a rock I had found.

Rock, ocean and wind as inspiration. Thanks to a great workshop in oil wax colours by @bethagrant i had som rich texture to play with, as I enlarged the lines of a beautiful rock that found in the area. An old map of the area, some fish net rope, scissors, glue and patience brought together my feeling of this place by the ocean. 50/80 cm.
