Another example of first working freely, creating background, color, textures. Then pulling it together, letting the chaos peak through controlled shapes of calm.
Letting green mix with purple. Lots of water, tilting the canvas, the purple creates lines in the green. I wipe off some of the wet colors splats, and this reveals the lighter colored canvas underneath. 
i start to fill inn the spaces between the purple lines with a light color.
The idea comes from a previous project, where i also covered a textured background to create textured lines
Up close, nice details appear, with a varied texture and color behind the positive shapes
