Travelling to Aillefroide in the french alps this summer, I was totally mesmerized by these turkish lilies that grow there in abundance. I spent many hours in beautiful fields, sketching them. Coming back from the trip, it was so exciting to take my sketches into the studio and turn them into acrylic paintings. Like this, i got to spend even more time with these beauties.
